The pin element 8 serves to secure connections in a form-fitting manner. The load capacity of the connection against displacement increases to max. 3000 N per element. It can be optimally used for securing struts with high dynamic loads. The use of pin elements should already be taken into account when setting up the basic structure, as the component cannot be subsequently swiveled into the profile groove. An M6x12 AF3 grub screw is included to secure the position. The transverse hole for the locking pin is surface-hardened and it is recommended to drill the pinning hole with a twist drill D = 5.9 mm.
